Highlights:
Leaving Old Glossop NE towards the first aim of the day, Cock Hill. Upon reaching the Pennine Way we head east crossing the moors towards Bleaklow Head 633m.
Shortly after but before Higher Shelf Stones we come across the old U.S Airforce bomber, B-29 that crashed in 1948. All 13 men on board were killed instantly when the aircraft flew into the moor. Many people visit the site as a mark of respect.
